Play Pretend with a Kids Workbench

All kids love to play pretend. Pretend play is a great way to learn how to interact with tools, food, appliances and other pretend toys. When kids play pretend together they can learn and better develop their social skills.

We recently got our son the Craftsman workbench by Little Tikes. He loves it and actually plays great together with our older sons with it. Whenever I have a tool out to fix something around the house Tommy was always trying to help along. Sometimes I would give him a screwdriver or hammer and watch him like a hawk while he helped me use them. But, of course he still wanted to play with them whenever I had to put the tools away. The toy workbench came with lots of pretend tools for him to use. He has been having a great time with his new toy and we don't need to worry about him breaking anything or getting hurt. It is very durable. I actually bought it used through Craigslist and it is still in near perfect condition.
