Kids Play Pretend Kitchens
All kids love to play pretend. Pretend play is a great way to learn how to interact with tools, food, appliances and other pretend toys. When kids play pretend together they can learn and better develop their social skills. Parents can have a lot of fun playing pretend with their kids too. Kids have amazing imaginations and using that is one of the best ways for them to learn. Numerous studies have show that the lessons and skills kids learn with pretend play are quickly used by them in real life situations. It can teach simple things like sharing and taking turns. While it also teaches more complex things like abstract thinking when kids pretend simple objects are something else.
My boys always had a wonderful time playing pretend with kids play kitchens. They always had one in preschool and they would play with one at their grandmother's house. We never happened to have one at home. But, we always had so many other toys that I don't know where we would have put it anyway. I even remember playing with one a lot in kindergarden.

Due to Google's new update I need to suggest products I recommend on my Amazon store instead of Hubpages. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. But, hope you like my store above. You will find great toy kitchens from Fisher Price, Step 2, Little Tykes and lots of great pretend food and utensils.

Nice hub. I have two grand childs age 2 and 3, they are always after my computer.
I would look into the possibility of diverting their attention to kitchen.
